Why sponsor this?

I'm Priya, a 3:12 marathoner from Des Moines, and Chicago is star number five of the Abbott Six. Berlin, London, Boston and New York are done; after Chicago it's just Tokyo. Here's the honest math, because it's the whole reason this page exists. Entry is $250. Flights are about $420. Three nights in a Loop hotel on race weekend runs $960 — race pricing, and it doesn't move. Coaching for the 16-week block is $640, I'll go through two pairs of shoes at $500, and race nutrition is another $180. That's $2,950 to get to the start line, and I'm not asking anyone to donate it. I'm selling the places a logo actually goes, and what comes with each one: the finish-line photo, the course shots, 16 weeks of training posts to a running audience that reads every one. If we don't hit $2,950 by the booking deadline, nobody's card is charged and I'll go find another way. That's the deal.

How sponsoring works

  1. 1.Call dibs on an open spot and upload your logo.
  2. 2.The owner reviews your logo. You're only charged if they approve.
  3. 3.Your logo goes on the real item and stays for at least 12 months.
